PORTRET}POLONIA was an open competition for short films that share a common theme: Polish life in Germany.

A jury has chosen the best films from those turned in. The filmmakers took part at a workshop to work with their films and to create a program that will be shown on partnerfestivals.

The organizer of this project is “Schloß Trebnitz Bildungs- und Begegnungszentrum  e.V.” in the state of Brandenburg in Germany. The president of the jury will be the  movie-director Stanislaw Mucha and the project management lies in the hands of Franziska Mandel and Oliver Spatz.

Next presentation on September 17th at 8.30 pm as part of the German-Polish Youthforum at Schloß Trebnitz. At the same evening the filmmaker Jan Walentek is guest at the “castle talks” at Schloß Trebnitz.
